Type of CAS : Creativity
Location : In school
When our school organized a Garba fest, two of my friends and I got the opportunity to set up a food stall and serve the students and staff attending the event. It was a wonderful experience to serve others and be part of the celebration.
LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience.
Balancing schoolwork with preparations for the food stall required strong time management and perseverance. The event day was fast-paced, with constant customers and the challenge of managing supplies efficiently. I focused on staying organized, guiding my team, and handling restocking. Despite early mornings and late cleanups, the positive feedback from students and teachers made it worthwhile. This experience taught me that dedication, teamwork, and hard work are key to achieving success.
LO5 – Demonstrate Skills and Benefits of Working Collaboratively.
This experience underscored the importance of teamwork. By distributing tasks efficiently, we ensured smooth operation of our stall, with each member contributing through food preparation, managing finances, or organizing the layout. Collaboration proved essential in tackling challenges — whenever issues arose, we worked together to find quick, practical solutions. The experience strengthened our communication and problem-solving skills and taught me that success comes more easily when responsibilities are shared and everyone works toward a common goal.
