Date: 25th July, 2025, Location: Bhavar Kada Waterfalls, located near the region of Dang.

On the date of 25th July, the Fountainheadschool DP team organised a one day trip for students. It was, a trek to Bhavar Kada Waterfalls which is located near the region of Dang, Gujarat. The experience consisted, a approximately 4 hour trek to the waterfall. This trek involved, sheer declines as well as mud – splattered pathways that was more like a test for our physical strength.

Moving, Further there are various learning outcomes that were achieved from participating and experiencing this one day trek.

Learning Outcome 1: Identify Own Strengths and Develop Areas for Growth

The 4 hour hike or trek to Bhavar Kada Waterfalls was more of an eye opening test for my physical & mental strength as well as it even examined my physical capabilities when it comes to tackling nature. While, struggling through trek downhill through muddy trails, sheer rocks, I was able to realize strengths in myself. I realised that staying calm and not getting panicked was one of the major strengths that I executed while tackling nature.I also discovered that I could inspire and encourage others, helping coworkers to balance and get over their fears. At the same time, the walk made me more aware of my shortcomings. I realised that incorporating training into my routine would improve my leg strength and stamina because I was becoming more exhausted than I had anticipated on the more difficult climbs. Through this experience, I was able to assess how I react to physical stress and how adding more endurance-related exercises to my training regimen could help me get better.

Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrate That Challenges Have Been Taken/Developing New Skills In The Process

The hike was more of a test that demanded my full hundred percent effort in order to complete the whole trek. The mud splattered paths, made the trail slippery while going down the steep decline trail. While, even these going down these steep hills required me to learn basic trekking skills in the moment.I gained soft skills like resilience, teamwork, and situational awareness. The trip to the waterfall was made even more enjoyable by my perseverance in the face of minor falls and physical exhaustion. I learnt how to push myself and view suffering as a teaching moment from these experiences.

Overall, it was a great experience and a must do so that you get to know about your inner – self and even understand about your strengths and weaknesses.

Thank you
