Bhavar Kada Waterfall

CAS Reflection: My One-Day Trek to Bhavar Kada Waterfall

On July 25th, I took part in a one-day trek to Bhavar Kada Waterfall in Dang. Honestly, I have never been a fan of trekking, so I was a bit nervous before the trip. However, this experience turned out to be much more meaningful than I expected.

Learning Outcome 2: Taking on Challenges and Learning New Skills

Trekking was definitely a challenge for me. The trail was steep, muddy, and sometimes slippery, which made it hard to walk. At first, I struggled to keep my balance and found it tiring. But as the trek went on, I started to understand how to pace myself and walk more carefully. I also learned how to help others in the group who were finding it difficult. This was a new skill for me because I’m not used to this kind of physical activity.

Learning Outcome 4: Showing Perseverance and Commitment

There were moments when I felt like giving up because I was tired and uncomfortable. But I reminded myself of the goal and stayed committed to completing the trek. The encouragement from my friends and the support from the group helped me keep going. This experience taught me the importance of perseverance and how commitment can help overcome difficulties.

Learning Outcome 5: Working Together as a Team

One of the best parts of the trek was how well our group worked together. We helped each other across tricky parts of the trail and shared snacks to keep our energy up. Everyone was patient and encouraging, which made the experience enjoyable even though it was tough. This showed me how important teamwork is when facing challenges.

Conclusion

Overall, the Bhavar Kada trek was a great learning experience for me. Even though I don’t like trekking, this trip helped me step out of my comfort zone and face a challenge head-on. I developed new skills, practiced perseverance, and understood the value of working as a team. Most importantly, I got to enjoy the beautiful waterfall and feel proud of completing the trek. This experience has definitely made me more confident and willing to try new things in the future.
