For FS Got Talent, I took part in dance and performed a classical dance and also was a part in a group dance,the first was a classical dance which emphasizes technique, grace, and traditional storytelling, and the second was a Bollywood dance, which was energetic, expressive, and showcases contemporary rhythm and coordination.This experience required consistent practice, collaboration with peers, and effective time management to prepare both routines. Performing in front of an audience helped me build confidence, adapt to stage dynamics, and handle performance pressure. The experience also enhanced my creativity, discipline, and appreciation for different dance styles, while promoting cultural awareness and inspiring others through the art of dance.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

During this CAS experience, I took on the challenge of learning and performing two very different dance styles—classical and Bollywood. Each style required me to develop new techniques, improve my coordination, and adapt my movements to express different emotions and energy levels. By practicing regularly and pushing myself outside my comfort zone, I was able to gain new skills and grow as a dancer.

 LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

Throughout this CAS experience, I stayed dedicated to preparing both my classical and Bollywood dance routines. I committed to regular practice sessions, worked through challenges like mastering difficult moves, and stayed focused despite fatigue or time constraints. This perseverance helped me improve my skills and successfully perform both routines on stage.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

During this CAS experience, I worked closely with other performers while rehearsing and preparing our routines. We shared ideas, gave each other feedback, and coordinated our movements to ensure our performances were synchronized. Collaborating with others helped me learn the importance of teamwork, communication, and supporting one another to achieve a common goal.

CONCLUSION

Participating in FS Got Talent and performing both classical and Bollywood dances was an enriching and memorable experience. It allowed me to challenge myself, develop new skills, and grow as a performer. Through consistent practice, collaboration with peers, and performing in front of an audience, I gained confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for different dance styles. This experience not only enhanced my creativity and teamwork but also inspired me to work more hard in the competition.
