LO5 – Demonstrate Skills and Benefits of Working Collaboratively

Collaborating effectively was crucial during the University Fair, as I partnered with fellow volunteers and university staff to help ensure the event’s success. Whether coordinating visitor flow or resolving unexpected issues, strong teamwork played a vital role. We clearly assigned tasks, maintained consistent communication, and assisted each other throughout the day, allowing everything to run smoothly. This experience highlighted the value of cooperation in accomplishing a common objective.

LO6 – Engagement with issues of global significance

During the University Fair at our school, I engaged with issues of global significance by supporting university representatives and helping them share opportunities with students. Through conversations about international programmes, global careers, and worldwide challenges such as sustainability and innovation, I saw how education connects us to a larger, interconnected world. Assisting the representatives allowed me to play a small part in creating a space where students could explore their future roles on a global stage.

LO7 – Recognize and Consider the Ethics of Choices and Actions

While organising and running the University Fair, we were very mindful of the ethical responsibility that came with it. We made a conscious effort to ensure that all the information shared with students was accurate, clear, and unbiased, so they could make informed decisions. We also prioritised being inclusive and welcoming to every prospective student, regardless of their background or academic interests. The experience served as an important reminder that we have a duty to act with integrity and to create equal opportunities for everyone involved.
