The collaborative science project (CSP) volunteering experience included creating the groups for the students based on the rural immersion trip and creating placards and the poster for the event while also helping to ensure that the event goes smoothly. It allowed me to help organize an event from the backhand and understand the work put into organizing events. I catered to several CAS LOs which are described below.

LO 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
The CAS experience allowed me to show my commitment and perseverance due to the work for creating the graphics for the event happening side by side to school. Taking time to do the same while managing academics allowed to me to express these attributes and helped organize the event smoothly.
LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
The graphics and group making was done in teams. Dividing the multiple tasks with my peers working with me allowed to show the benefits of collaboration skills. The poster making, placard making and each of us assigned for a different area for making the groups allowed to allocate responsibilities and get the work done effectively and on time.

LO 6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
The engagement connected with issues of sustainability due to the focus of the event. Ensuring smooth processing of the event, during event and before the event allowed to make sure that the projects being presented in the event are able to be presented and address the issue of sustainability in rural areas.
Overall, the CAS experience was very engaging. I am grateful for being a part of this creativity experience and happy for this opportunity to volunteer in the organizing of the event.
