FSMUM(Decor Team- Creativity)

For CAS Creativity, I was part of the Decor Team at FSMUN. Our job was to design and set up the venue so that it reflected the professionalism and seriousness of a Model United Nations conference. This experience helped me understand how creativity can play an important role even in formal events.I helped in making banners, placards, and other decorative elements for the conference. We had to make sure everything looked neat, organized, and suitable for a diplomatic setting. There were moments when we were short on time, and some things had to be adjusted at the last minute, but we managed to complete everything before the event began.

LO 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
Through this experience, I realized that I am good at paying attention to small details and making sure things look well-coordinated. At the same time, I understood that I need to work on managing my time better during stressful situations.

LO 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Working under deadlines was challenging, especially when there were sudden changes. I learned how to adapt quickly and stay calm. I also developed better planning and coordination skills while working on the decor.

LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Being in the decor team required constant teamwork. We divided tasks, shared ideas, and helped each other when needed. I realized that when everyone contributes their strengths, the final result becomes much better than what one person could do alone.

Overall, being part of the FSMUN Decor Team was a valuable CAS Creativity experience. It showed me that creativity is not just about artistic talent but also about teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving. I feel proud that I was able to contribute to making the conference environment professional and welcoming.
