Participating in the Garba Fest stall was an exciting and dynamic CAS experience that allowed me to step into a real-world, business-like environment. Along with my peers, I set up and managed a stall where we sold food items, interacting with a large number of customers throughout the event. The fast-paced and energetic atmosphere of the fest made this experience both challenging and enjoyable, as it required constant coordination, communication, and quick decision-making.

Learning Outcome 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

Through this experience, I discovered that one of my key strengths is my ability to communicate confidently with customers and handle interactions effectively. I was able to attract customers and explain our offerings clearly. However, I also realized that I need to improve my time management and ability to handle pressure during peak hours, when multiple customers approached at once. This helped me identify areas where I can grow further.

Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

Managing the stall came with several challenges, especially during rush hours when demand was high. I had to handle multiple tasks such as taking orders, managing payments, and ensuring smooth service. Through this, I developed new skills like basic money management, quick decision-making, and problem-solving. I also learned how to stay calm and efficient in a high-pressure situation.

Teamwork played a crucial role in the success of our stall. We divided tasks among ourselves, such as handling customers, preparing items, and managing payments. Supporting each other during busy moments helped us maintain efficiency and avoid confusion. This experience showed me how collaboration and clear communication can significantly improve outcomes.

While running the stall, we became aware of the importance of responsible consumption and waste management. We made efforts to minimize food wastage and use resources efficiently. Reflection

Overall, the Garba Fest stall was a highly engaging experience that allowed me to develop practical skills while working in a team. It taught me how to manage responsibilities, handle pressure, and interact effectively with others. Most importantly, it showed me that even small activities can contribute to personal growth and learning when approached with commitment and responsibility.
