On the 1st of September, 2025, I took part in the Corporate Hustle Workshop held by ATLAS skilltech University. It was a session of one hour that consisted of solving a business case study in groups. The first step was to decide on the country that suited us best in terms of budget and business needs, then to come up with an idea and present a one-minute elevator pitch for it. This whole process was a great opportunity for me and the development of my skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, communication, creativity and problem-solving skills.
LO 2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
One of the main challenge during the workshop was making quick decisions and coordinating effectively with the team under limited time. Since we had different ideas about which country to select and how to present our pitch, it was initially difficult to align our perspectives. However, through active listening, cooperation, we reached a mutual decision. I learned how to think critically, analyze financial and practical aspects, and develop my communication skills to express ideas clearly. This challenge helped me grow more confident in handling real-world business situations collaboratively.
LO 4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
Although the workshop was short, it required consistent focus and active participation from the start to the end. I remained engaged throughout the brainstroming, budgeting, showcase prep stage, ensuring that I contributed meaningful ideas. I showed commitment by taking initiative in group discussions and helping thorugh the pitch. This event made me consider how crucial it is to persevere and be involved until the very end.
LO 5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
The workshop focused on teamwork. We had to brainstorm ideas, distribute responsibilities, and evaluate the strength and weaknesses to develop a strong pitch. This required strong communication, collaboration, and an acceptance of everyone’s perspective in the process. In time, the work was done, and the task was productive. I realized that teamwork can achieve many positive things and develop interpersonal and leadership skills along the way.
Overall, the corporate Hustle Workshop was a valuable and engaging learning experience. It helped me apply critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills in a real-world context while understanding the global aspects of business decision-making. Working under time pressure taught me the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and clear communication. This experience not only enhanced my confidence to think more ethically and globally in future project.
