One Day Trek To Bhavar Kada Waterfalls(Activity)

On July 25th, I went on a one-day trek to Bhavar Kada. This four-hour hike took us through muddy trails and across slippery rocks. It was an unforgettable experience, challenging me both physically and mentally, as I continually had to push myself and persist through the difficulties.

Learning Outcome 1: Recognizing Strengths and Identifying Growth Areas
The trek was a great opportunity to evaluate my strengths and areas for improvement. I discovered that I’m good at climbing and reading the terrain, which allowed me to complete the trek with relative ease. However, one area I realized I need to work on is being more attentive to my surroundings there were several moments when I nearly slipped or lost balance, mostly due to my lack of focus. This highlighted the importance of staying alert and cautious, a lesson I took away from this experience.

Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills in the process
This trek helped me appreciate how demanding trekking can be. The combination of steep trails and continuous rain not only made us all soaking wet but also made the ground wet and treacherous, increasing the difficulty. While it was certainly a challenge, it also pushed me to develop new skills like decision making, as well as fine and gross motor skills. The experience tested me both physically and mentally, contributing to growth in multiple aspects.

Learning Outcome 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
This trek was definitely a long one, requiring not just physical strength but also patience and determination. Even when I felt exhausted, I pushed myself to keep going and refused to give up. I believe this demonstrates my commitment throughout the trek and my resolve to reach the finish line.

Learning Outcome 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
While individual effort and determination were important, teamwork was essential to our success. Navigating slippery terrain meant the risk of falls and injuries was constant, so we all looked out for one another. We made sure everyone was safe, and I even managed to prevent my friends from falling a few times. Working together made the experience safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Overall Reflection:-
Overall, this trek was a refreshing departure from my routine school life. It presented challenges I had never faced before and pushed me to recognize my strengths and acknowledge areas where I can improve. It was an experience that truly helped me grow.
