I volunteered for the university fair on 16th Jan 2026, in the event I was the event coordinator for the registration area, and the event was held in school itself. The event began at 7:45 am and continued till 3:35pm. The University fair included multiple university stalls and the representative of the university helped the students by sharing information about their institutions. My role was to manage the registration desk, and hand over the ID cards and takeaway to university representatives. This experience required communication skills and responsibility to ensure the representative reached their desk and has the correct ID card. Additionally time management was also required. 

LO 2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

A key challenge was to manage representatives at the same time and ensure everyone gets the correct ID card and each one of them gets the takeaway as well. This experience required communication skills and responsibility to ensure the representative reached their desk and has the correct ID card. Additionally time management was also required. So I developed time management, responsibility, multitasking and communication skills.

LO 4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

I gave my commitment to volunteer for the university fair from morning till afternoon. And throughout the time I used focus, politeness and proactiveness with my work.I demonstrated perseverance by maintaining a professional attitude, and not running away from the task I was allocated as, as showcased my full responsibility. The experience helped me strengthen my skills of responsibility and dedication towards service based activities.

LO 5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

The success of the university fair was mainly based on teamwork as everyone was allocated to different roles, where I was the event coordinator of the registration desk and I coordinated with volunteers and communicated both of us role and responsibility. This helped us reduce the confusion and have clear communication within the work.
