ISSO FOOTBALL ( Activity)

I represented Fountainhead School in the ISSO Football Tournament (Under-17 Boys category), which was hosted at JPIS (Jayshree Periwal International School), Jaipur. The tournament took place from 9th to 13th November 2025, bringing together teams from various schools across India. Competing at this level gave me the opportunity to test my skills, adapt to high-pressure match situations, and grow both as an individual player and as part of a team. Playing on this national platform challenged me to perform with discipline, teamwork, and consistency.

Learning Outcomes Demonstrated

LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

Throughout the tournament, I identified key strengths such as speed, solid defensive positioning, and the ability to stay composed even in high-pressure situations. I also recognized areas that require improvement, such as tighter ball control, more accurate long passes, and stronger communication during fast-paced plays.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

Each match brought new challenges—facing stronger and more experienced opponents, adapting to different playstyles, and maintaining focus in intense game situations. These challenges helped me develop new skills like better tactical awareness, quicker decision-making, and adapting my positioning based on the flow of the match.

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

Preparing for the tournament involved consistent training, dedication, and discipline. Even when the practice sessions were tiring, I remained committed. During the tournament, I pushed through fatigue, stayed mentally focused, and consistently gave my best for my team.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

Football is a team sport, and this experience highlighted the importance of collaboration. Good communication, trusting teammates, and coordinating plays were crucial. Through this tournament, I improved my teamwork skills, supported my teammates on and off the field, and learned how important unity is during competitive matches.
